About the home:
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Deputy Manager (RGN) (RMN) or (RNLD) to join our friendly and welcoming care home providing nursing care for adults with a range of needs. The home has a fantastic reputation and has been purpose built to support adults requiring residential, nursing and dementia care. The service holds a 'Good' CQC rating and fantastic service user feedback scores of 9.8/10.
About the Role:
As the Deputy Nurse Manager at our fantastic care home in Westbury, WIltshire you will oversee and assist every aspect of nursing care and activities within the home, making sure the level of clinical care provided goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements.  It will mean providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence and supervising/coaching the wider team. Always seeking to share your clinical experience, you will provide valuable support, guidance, and assistance to the rest of our care staff, helping to create an inspired, motivated and empowered team resulting in outstanding levels of care for our clients.
Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff and ensure high standards of care
• Support the Home Manager in day to day running of the nursing home
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and ensure compliance with CQC standards
• Manage staff rota and annual leave
• Induct, supervise and appraise junior nursing staff
• Liaise with doctors, district nurses and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with valid NMC PIN
• Proven experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager or similar clinical leadership role
• Experience working in a nursing home environment
