About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for an Associate Nurse to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital on the northeast coast of Kent. The hospital is situated in a beautiful residential area within easy reach of Margate and Broadstairs. The hospital offers a range of services including orthopaedics treatment / surgeries, aesthetic and cosmetics treatments, neuro, cardio, ENT, gastro, urology, ophthalmology, gynae vascular, general and more! Although it's small team they have great sense of community and they pride themself on patient care and is a great opportunity for an Associate Nurse to join their friendly team.
About the role:
You will be working as an Associate Nurse as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:
- Delivering the highest quality of pre and post op care to patients
- Working well as part of a supportive team, offering knowledge
- Assessing patient needs with enthusiasm and empathy
- Planning, implementing and evaluating care programs with clinical procedures
- Providing medication, injections, intravenous infusions, and female and male catheterisation
- Keeping patient medical records, up to date, accurate and managing them on an IT System
Who we're looking for;
- Be NMC - Registered Nursing Associate - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
- Nursing Associate Foundation Degree
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Experience working within the private sector is desirable
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Good written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems
- Experience in an elective day case outpatient environment
- Ability to organise , priorities your own work loads as well as HCA's and act as clinical supervision whilst obtaining professional and friendly relationships with colleagues and patients
