Physiotherapist required two days a week.
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a private clinical setting two days a week. You will be responsible for delivering personalised, evidence-based care to patients presenting with a wide variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and respiratory conditions. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and high-quality patient experience from assessment through to rehabilitation and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored physiotherapy services to patients with complex and diverse conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and chronic health issues.
- Conduct detailed physical assessments to establish accurate diagnoses and formulate effective treatment plans.
- Design, implement, and regularly review rehabilitation programmes focused on restoring function, improving mobility, and enhancing quality of life. Techniques may include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and lifestyle modifications.
- Educate and motivate patients to participate in their own recovery by providing practical advice on injury prevention, posture, movement, and self-care.
- Involve family members or caregivers in the treatment process where appropriate, especially for long-term or paediatric cases.
- Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation, including assessment outcomes, treatment notes, discharge plans, and statistical data, in line with clinic policies and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Liaise and collaborate with referring clinicians, GPs, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for each patient.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest techniques, technologies, and industry standards relevant to private physiotherapy practice.
- Ensure all care is delivered in line with relevant legal, professional, and ethical standards, including HCPC registration and CSP guidelines.
- Promote a caring, professional, and patient-centred approach in all interactions, maintaining the reputation and standards of the clinic.
- Monitor and manage clinical risks, adhering to the clinic’s health and safety, safeguarding, and infection prevention protocols.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (HCPC registered)
- Minimum three years post-graduate experience (private sector experience desirable)
- Strong clinical knowledge across key specialties, particularly musculoskeletal care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic patient records and digital health tools
