We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Professional with strong public sector expertise to join our Client on a full time permanent basis.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead end-to-end procurement projects within the IT & Digital and Healthcare categories, advising and supporting Category Teams on procurement strategies while ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023.

You’ll be a key player in delivering quality outcomes by managing the entire procurement lifecycle—from planning and documentation through to contract award—while working closely with internal teams and stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading procurement projects in line with NHS governance processes and timescales.

  • Preparing ITT documentation and all bidder communications, ensuring alignment with the Procurement Act 2023.

  • Collaborating with our Compliance, Legal, and Sourcing teams to gain approvals at key milestones.

  • Ensuring procurement activities are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timelines.

  • Managing stakeholder communication to keep everyone aligned and informed throughout the project.

  • Supporting key project meetings including initiation and closedown sessions.

  • Working closely with Category Teams to ensure procurement documentation reflects business and stakeholder needs.

  • Liaising with the Programme Management Office to secure approvals for any changes.

What you’ll bring:

  • Solid knowledge of public sector procurement, with a strong understanding of regulated processes.

  • Experience leading complex procurement projects, ideally within IT, Digital, or Healthcare.

  • CIPS Level 5 would be ideal.

  • A proactive, structured approach with great attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • The ability to challenge constructively and promote continuous improvement.

  • A team player mindset with emotional intelligence and a solution-focused attitude.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience with eProcurement tools and platforms.

  • A good working knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023.

If you’re passionate about public procurement and ready to make a meaningful impact in the NHS, we’d love to hear from you.

Not sure if you tick every box? Apply anyway! We value potential and would love to hear from you.
