Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with all Team Leaders to ensure all teams are up to speed with current best practice and delivering to the required standards
  • Provide clinical support to case managers and the wider business within expert field and participate in MDT reviews where required.
  • Ensure the team have a thorough understanding of what is in/out of scope for each client; and to keep pace with clients' respective business objectives, priorities and values concerning the health and well-being of their workforce
  • To maintain the individual audit schedule and through regular call & case auditing, identify any areas for development to help improve quality of delivery & ensure consistently high standard
  • Ensure the team are able to identify and communicate the multifactorial issues associated with the individual’s current episode of ill health / injury
  • Ensure the team actively participate in supervision and / or provide clinical supervision for the delivery of interventions through the Careline (where applicable)
  • Ensure the team can actively promote and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Ensure the team has the ability to source clinicians, clinics and hospitals while always considering clinical appropriateness
  • Ensure the case managers meet all legal compliance requirements and quality assurance standards
  • Deliver workshops to clients in areas of expertise and support development of wellbeing programmes, workshops and psychoeducational material
  • Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to company processes, performance and procedure standards including DPA/GDPR rules & guidelines
  • Understand the fundamentals of all Corporate Health services to enable an integrated approach for the prevention and management of workplace ill health/injury

Salary: Up to £48k depending on experience

Our Psychological Services team are hiring a Clinical Subject Matter Expert to support delivery of our integrated health and wellbeing model. This involves a multidisciplinary assessment process, understanding the clinical and non-clinical reasons behind ill health and advising on suitable treatment pathways, as well as coaching and developing colleagues in your areas of expertise.

Essential Skills

Skills and Experience:

  • Currently recognised by professional bodies e.g. HCPC, BABCP, BPS, BACP, NMC
  • Degree level education or equivalent professional certification or extensive relevant experience in delivering psychological based services
  • Proficient in MS office packages
  • Experience in managing a variety of Occupational Health cases involving safety critical roles and risk factors is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in completing audits and coaching and developing individuals is desirable but not essential
  • Need to evidence ability to write clear and accurate English
