Laboratory Glasswashing Technician – Swindon  

Opportunity:

Are you currently working in a lab? Does your experience include hands on laboratory glasswashing and consumable management? If yes then this is the role for you!

Your role as a Laboratory Glasswashing Technician based in Swindon will involve laboratory glasswashing and consumable management. All work to be performed in line with EH&S, GMP and GLP procedures.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Performing sample disposal and glass washing tasks.
• Stock counts of laboratory consumables.
• Understanding and correctly implementing written instructions.  
• Maintaining personal and communal laboratory areas in line with 5s principles.

This is not a lab analysis or testing role.  But purely focussing on glasswashing and consumable management.

This is a 12 months contract which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent dependent on the candidate and business performance.  The PAYE rate is £13.00 per hour.

This is a shift role working 4 days on and then 4 days off – 7.00 am to 7.00 pm.

Skills:

• Experience in Laboratory Glasswashing.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
• May be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds.
