About the Role

They are seeking a Senior Proposals Engineer to take ownership of the full bid process, ensuring the successful preparation and submission of high-quality proposals. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and experience in bid management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end bid process, from qualification through to contract award.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities through industry networks and online platforms.
• Develop winning bid strategies and ensure proposals align with commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
• Produce and review technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and delivery plans.
• Maintain bid documentation, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and GDPR requirements.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in proposal development, bid writing, or commercial engineering roles.
✅ Strong technical background in engineering, preferably within the nuclear, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
✅ Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
✅ Familiarity with contractual, financial, and risk management considerations in bid processes.
