Our clients success is driven by cutting-edge technology and a collaborative approach with customers worldwide. With substantial recent investments in state-of-the-art laboratories and production facilities, they’re primed to expand their global reach and meet increasing demand.

They are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Technician to provide technical support to customers in the UK, Europe and Worldwide. This role involves extensive international travel to provide on-site customer support, product training, and troubleshooting, alongside lab-based responsibilities at the UK facilities.

If you have experience in coatings, inks or adhesives gained in industry with some customer interaction, this is the ideal role for you.

​Responsibilities:

  • Customer Technical Support: Provide support to customers at product introduction phase or if resolving product related technical issues.

  • Conduct pro-active customer visits to audit processes and ensure correct processing of products.

  • Product related laboratory work: Support R&D and technical teams in new product development or existing product/process improvement activities.

​Candidate Profile

Technical Experience:

Lab-based formulation work and/or product related technical support in inks, coatings, adhesives, or paints.

Education:

STEM based A’ Levels or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot process related issues.

  • Proficient in interpreting technical specifications, datasheets, and manufacturing guidelines.

  • Knowledge of quality control practices and product formulation work.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for providing clear, concise technical feedback/results to customers and internal teams.

Personal Attributes:

  • Willing to travel frequently (40 - 50%) in the UK, EU and internationally.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and customers.

  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Full UK licence and valid passport.

  • You must have the right to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available.
