Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Full-Time – North Bristol
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a well-established GP surgery in North Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team in a modern practice with excellent facilities.
Role Details:
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Shift Pattern:
- 3 early shifts (08:00-16:00)
- 2 late shifts (Thursday & Friday, 10:30-18:30)
- Start Date: ASAP (notice periods considered)
- Salary: £25-£28 per hour (negotiable for the right candidate)
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care within a busy practice setting
- Managing Chronic Disease Management (CDM)
- Handling minor illness cases
- Independent prescribing
- Conducting home visits (half-day per week locally and half-day at a care home, if required)
- Using EMIS Web clinical system
The Practice:
- Single-site practice with a patient list of 19,000
- Purpose-built modern premises with on-site parking
- CQC rating: Good (2019)
- Strong multidisciplinary team including:
- 8 partners (6 GPs, 1 Nurse Partner, 1 Pharmacist Partner)
- 8 salaried GPs
- 6 Practice Nurses
- 6 Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)

- Experience in Chronic Disease Management and minor illness
- Independent prescribing qualification
