Chemical Regulatory Specialist - Part-time

Salary around £40,000 pro-rata
Location: Alfreton
Family run manufacturing business producing a range of commercial and household cleaning products and specialist coatings based in Derbyshire. They are looking for a chemist with a technical regulatory background including knowledge and experience of the following:
- Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring to GB and EU regulations.
- Detergent labelling & transport information authoring.
- SDS management – for internal & suppliers.
- Management of MySDS portal.
- REACH compliance management.
- Label checks for compliance.
- PFAS / SVHC compliance.
- Monitoring of new chemical regulations and changes to existing standards.
Candidate:
Relevant technical / regulatory background, knowledge as listed above.
Must have suitable chemical industry / manufacturing experience.
Looking for part-time work only.
Excellent verbal and written English.
High level communication skills.
Comfortable with a variety of IT / software packages.
This job is not suitable for a recent graduate. We are looking for someone who is perhaps nearer to the end of their career or has other responsibilities, and is therefore comfortable with part-time hours.
