Job Title: Senior Specialist Nurse Adviser – Occupational Health

Tripod Partners is seeking a dedicated Senior Specialist Nurse Adviser to join the Occupational Health team in London. This role offers the opportunity to deliver a proactive, evidence-based Occupational Health service within a dynamic NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake clinical activities including case management, health surveillance, and attendance management assessments.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Band 5 and Band 6 staff while overseeing the day-to-day running of the Occupational Health department.
  • Deliver immunisation programmes, health promotion initiatives, and guidance on complex health issues.
  • Manage return-to-work assessments, risk evaluations, and needle-stick injury follow-ups.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies, SOPs, and quality audits.
  • Lead on Wellbeing and health education initiatives as directed by the Principal Specialist Nurse Advisor.

Position Details

  • Location: Greenwich, London
  • Work Pattern: 3 Days a week (7.5h Days)
  • Pay Rate: £31.00 per hour
  • Contract Duration: 3 months with potential extensions

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with relevant Occupational Health qualification (Certificate/Diploma/BSc).
  • Minimum 2 years of Occupational Health practice post-accreditation.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office for reporting and data management.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and current NHS Occupational Health practices.
