We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role requires excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of anatomy, and the ability to administer medications safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing patients' needs and developing individualised care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health status, documenting any changes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.
Experience
- A valid nursing qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential for newly qualified nurses.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to patient care.
- Demonstrated ability in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology principles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- A compassionate approach to patient care, with a focus on empathy and support during challenging times.
