Our client in Alton is a beautiful 30 bedded Residential Care Home that is a part of an established charity with a great reputation in the industry. Their CQC report is rated ‘Good’ in all areas and both Days and Nights are available.

Job Reference: PK62130 (Care Assistant)

• Day and Night shifts are available, full or part time
• Days: 8am-2pm, 2pm-9pm (can be combined for long days if preferred)
• Nights: 9pm-8am
• £12.51 to £13.12 per hour with paid breaks!

We are seeking dedicated Care Assistants who are passionate about care and who are willing to work collaboratively alongside a team of others Carers and Senior Carers.

The company can offer fully funded NVQ training for Carers looking to develop and progress in their careers and they also have a fantastic employee benefits scheme. Extensive training and support will be provided to all new starters from Senior Care Assistants and senior staff members as a part of a comprehensive induction programme

The care home is located just a short walk from Alton train station with ample onsite parking and bus routes also running nearby.

Main duties for Care Assistants are as follows:

• Supporting with personal care such as assisting with bathing and using the toilet
• Manual handling and assisting residents to move around the home, using equipment where required
• Work collaboratively with the rest of the care team to provide a high quality of person-centred care
• Assisting with food and drink throughout the day

Desirable for Care Assistants:

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker within a care home
• NVQ’s within health and social care. (Not essential)
