As a Graduate Business Analyst, preferably from a STEM or manufacturing environment you will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of technology-driven solutions across the business. As a business analyst in the STEM industry you would work closely with both digital technical teams and business stakeholders, you will help analyse and improve processes across various departments, including manufacturing, sales and distribution or procure to pay. This business analyst role provides a unique opportunity to be involved in the implementation of innovative technologies while gaining a solid foundation in business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains e.g. manufacturing , procurement, sales (SAP functions) etc.  
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and facilitate communication between business teams and the technical department.
  • Participate in workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide insights into process enhancements.
  • Support data analysis activities to optimize business processes and identify areas for growth and operational improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases and project plans to support decision-making processes.
  • Help implement changes within the business, including contributing to change management and training initiatives.
  • Document business processes, project outcomes, and user training materials.
  • Support testing of system changes and provide training to end-users on new procedures and systems.
  • Work in an evolving agile environment, contributing to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

This is an office-based role.

Qualifications / Experience

  • A degree in Information Technology or Business preferred. Other STEM degrees considered.
  • Experience as a business analyst from a STEM/ production or manufacturing /FMCG industry preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to take initiative when faced with challenges.
  • Demonstrable ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies, with the potential to suggest solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data.
  • Curious, logical, initiative, problem solving, continuous improvement, high energy, planning.
  • Desirable -  Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Desirable An understanding of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud computing, or manufacturing processes.
