IP Optometrist (12 month FTC) – 3-4 days p/w (Mon-Thurs) – Up to £70,000 DoE (FTE) – York

An exciting new opportunity has arisen in a leading York Eye Hospital, for an experienced IP qualified Optometrist to join their highly skilled and supportive team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carrying out examinations that are associated with refractive, cataract, glaucoma and retinal surgeries
• The running of acute and follow up clinics post-surgery
• Providing health advice and supporting patients
• Providing clinical advice to patients and following the appropriate means of referral to a medical practitioner if this is necessary

Qualifications / Skills:

• Fully qualified optometrist with current GOC registration
• IP qualification with a keen interest in YAG
• Extensive experience in a refractive, high street or hospital environment
• Administration systems and electronic medical record systems experience
• Confident and driven to working towards conversion targets and other KPIs within Vision Correction
