Polytec are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist in Chemistry for our client. You will be responsible for a large area stretching from Northern Scotland to Mid Wales including Northern Ireland. Ideally you will be based fairly central to this within the Scottish Border region (Newcastle to Falkirk).

Responsibilities:

* Developing and maintaining profitable sales within your territory

* Develop new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle

* Maintain and develop relationships by structured site visits and communications to current and potential customers

* Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations and training

* CRM Management

* Organise and attend onsite mini-exhibitions and symposiums

Requirements:

* Knowledge and familiarity with the Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research and Chemical sectors

* Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets

* Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

* Familiarity with products in process and organic chemistry

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM

* Full UK driving license.
