Senior Care Assistant – Up to 40 hours – £12.50 p/h / Shipley & surrounding areas
 

A dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Health Care Assistant is required to join a compassionate home care team in Shipley and surrounding areas.
 

Role Responsibilities:

• Providing person centred care and support to a person in all aspects of daily living
• To lead and support all care staff which includes training, coaching and mentoring new members of the team
• A programme of personal care and household management that is personalised for each person in the form of a Care Plan
• Supporting the people using services with all aspects of personal care and daily activities and in so doing will observe and respect their dignity, privacy, and independence

Qualifications:

• Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification - With expectation to work towards Level 3
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle

Skills Required:

• Motivated, positive and with great interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership skills with the drive to lead a team of Care Assistants that deliver high quality, personal care
• Committed to maintaining professional standards and ongoing learning
