Lead Occupational Therapist

Permanent | Full time role based in Birmingham.
Salary: up to £51,000 per annum.

Our well established client are looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the OT team and oversee the clinical supervision of all staff within the OT team.
• To lead and participate in clinical work and to promote a high standard of expertise within the OT department.
• To undertake specialist clinical assessments where required for the relevant service lines provided for example Sensory assessments. 
•  To be responsible for the allocation and prioritisation of workload for all OT staff in the team.
• To act as an expert resource on Occupational Therapy, providing specialist support and advice to the Occupational Therapy team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• HCPC registered
• Occupational Therapy degree
• Experience in acute sector clinical OT
• Experience of supervising / teaching under and post graduate staff
• Inpatient experience (where leading inpatient therapy teams)
