Evolve is working with a brand-new client; a family-owned independent pharmacy group with valued branches across Oxfordshire.

Our client is seeking a GPhC registered Pharmacist Manager to join their well-established team at their store in Oxford (OX39). With the use of new technology to reduce ‘checking loads’, you will successfully lead a team, and focus efforts on improving and developing their patient services.

This is a permanent position, ideally working Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm) with every 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am to 12pm / 1pm) but hours may be negotiable within reason.

Ideal background for the Pharmacist Manager

  • GPhC registered Pharmacist.
  • Completed MPharm and pre-registration training.
  • Must be accredited to provide pharmacy services such as NMS, Travel vaccinations, BP Checks, Flu Vaccinations etc.
  • Ideally be able to lead and manage a team.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager

  • Dispense prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting GP’s orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles and prescribing errors.
  • Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, labelling medicines.
  • Control medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions.
  • Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing Technicians workflow, verifying their preparation, and labelling of medicines verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
