£30,000 - £32,000 per annum + Benefits

Job Overview

Florin Healthcare have been assigned to work with an award-winning care provider to find a Unit Manager (Residential) for one of their elderly care services. The home is a large sized elderly care that provides nursing and dementia care to elderly residents.

As a Unit Manager, you will be ultimately taking responsibility of the care and wellbeing residents but also leading, motivating, and mentoring your team of carers whilst delivering guidance and coaching. You should have a keen eye for detail, be organised and be able to make critical decisions when needed regarding your unit. Additionally, you will be supported by an excellent management team who will provide you will all the tools to grow and develop your career within the group.

Salary

Hourly rate to be discussed – salary works out around £30-32k per annum.

Candidate requirements

• High-level communication skills.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Be able to work as part of a dedicated team.
• Be able to Carry out investigations if ever needed in a professional manner.
• Oversee and coordinate unit operations.
• Be able to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for patients/residents.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor and improve the quality of care provided.

Location

This role is based in Bradford and commutable from Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, Keighley, Pudsey and Bingley
