ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER – OXFORD (Hybrid) – PERMANENT – up to £70,000 + 20% Bonus + Shares

This is a genuinely awesome chance to work at a pioneering Medical Device start up and join the company right in the ‘sweet spot’ of their growth.

With £26m in sales in 2023 you are joining a company that offers good stability and job security, but still has the excitement and variety of working in a busy start up.

They are seeking two electronic design engineers to join their team; one role sits in R&D while the other sits in the Product Engineering Team. Both roles require a similar skill set as detailed below.

These roles require you to be onsite in Oxford “most of the time” but this is a forward thinking company that allows you to manage you own work load and gives you the freedom to work from home when you don't need to be in the lab. You are probably looking at 3 or 4 days in the office per week.

Must have skills and experience:

  • Industry experience in electronics design
  • A wide range of knowledge across electronics design, development and implementation
  • Good skills in digital electronics & embedded software
  • Strong experience in microprocessor based designs

You'll most likely need some of the below as well to be a standout candidate for these roles:

  • Background in medical electronics, or other highly regulated industry
  • Altium CAD Package
  • Design for EMC and supporting EMC Testing
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced start up business
  • I2C
  • RS485
  • Mixed signal electronics
  • Strong ability in managing design documentation and BOM
  • Experience of managing or dealing with outsourced design recourses
