HTZ Limited, based in West Sussex are a long-established UK owned manufacturer of laboratory automation products. With the recent launch of a new range of cost-effective benchtop robots, we are looking for significant growth in the next few years. To achieve this, we need to sell high-quality products around the world, meeting all relevant regulations along the way.

Production Support Engineer - Duties:

The range of job functions includes (depending on the skill set of the candidate):

  • Supporting our sales efforts by helping with proposals for new products and product configurations
  • Testing and refining new hardware, electronics, and firmware for our range of products, working with our established development team.
  • Providing product design documentation using various tools
  • Setting up and managing functional and life testing of new products and product features
  • Providing support to Production, particularly with regard to the electronic/mechanical interfaces in our products
  • Translating the practical help provided to Production into precise and usable procedures.
  • Helping with product in-house commissioning
  • On occasion, taking part in visits to our customers to help install or troubleshoot already installed products.

This role will suit applicants with a passion for robotics and the combination of mechanical systems, electronics, and software to produce world-class products.

Production Support Engineer details:

Salary £24 to £40K, depending on experience.

Hours will be 9am - 5pm Monday to Thusday and 9am - 4pm Friday.
