Care Home Manager
Location: Market Harborough
Service Type: Residential / Dementia Care Home
Salary: Up to £54,500 per annum + 15% bonuses paid quarterly

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to join our fantastic service. Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and management to the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are always maintained.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines and take appropriate action to address any areas of improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and a person-centred approach to care.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the nursing home, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance, implementing necessary changes and improvements to enhance the overall quality of care and resident satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 experience in managing at deputy level or above within a care home
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, resource management, and cost control.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum NVQ 3 or equivalent
