Ophthalmology Theatre Nurse/ODP - Top Private Ophthalmology Clinic - Wimpole Street - Up to £42,500 - Full Time

They are a prestigious Ophthalmology clinic located in the heart of Wimpole Street, London. The clinic is dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services and delivering the highest standard of patient care. They are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as an Ophthalmic Theatre Nurse.


Ophthalmology Theatre Nurse Responsibilities:
• Assisting ophthalmologists and optometrists in patient examinations and treatments.
• Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean and well stocked with necessary supplies.
• Conducting Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma procedures, Ocular plastics as well as a mix of less complex cases.
• Managing patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
• Scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Providing administrative support, including handling phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing patient billing and insurance claims.
• Assisting with the maintenance and sterilization of ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
• Collaborating with other clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences.

Ophthalmology Theatre Nurse Requirements:
• Previous experience with Ophthalmic Surgeries Desired
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and build rapport with patients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and efficient clinic operations.
• Flexible to work in not only Theatre but the laser Department, Admissions and Discharge, as well as General Nursing Duties
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
