Deputy Care Manager required in Basingstoke for a residential care home
£36k per annum
Full Time day shifts - 40 hours per week

Must have senior care / team leader or deputy experience within a care home.

Job Setting
My client requires a dedicated Deputy Care Manager to work within a beautiful residential home in Basingstoke. My client offers Nursing care to Elderly & Dementia based residents. You will have excellent leadership qualities as will be involved in the management of the staff. You will be responsible for assisting the Home Manager in the day to running of the home.

You will be directly involved with senior management and will be responsible for supervising staff and monitoring patient care. The successful Deputy Staff Nurse will have excellent leadership skills & a naturally caring approach.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring the very best person-centred care service is provided to our residents whilst promoting their interests and understanding their needs

  • You will effectively manage your staff, providing information, guidance and on-going supervision and support, recruiting and on boarding new staff and continually develop and encourage your team

  • Working with the registered manager, you will continually ensure that company's business objectives and the Care Quality Commission compliance criteria are met, by cultivating good working relationships with all your stakeholders and actively work in a collaborative way to ensure our service and care levels are outstanding

  • You will also be working closely with the Hospitality and Maintenance teams to ensure the best standards in the home's environment, including food presentation standards, housekeeping standards and the care and maintenance of residents' clothing and building

  • Have 6 months experience in a similar capacity
  • CQC Knowledge & a proven track record
