Senior Product Engineer

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product Engineer at a leading printing manufacturer based in Hampshire. As Senior Product Engineer you will be responsible for managing the New Product Introduction frameworks to introduce new designs and product improvements. You will also be responsible for leading Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE) projects across various functional teams.

To be considered for the Senior Product Engineer position you will have experience within materials development, continuous improvement, and leading NPI projects within the polymers industry. You will also be degree educated in Engineering or a similar field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading NPI projects, working closely with development teams to support transition from development to production.
  • Lead VAVE projects.
  • Responsible for supporting continuous improvement of existing products.
  • Deal with stakeholders to ensure projects are in line with cost and quality requirements.
  • Attend development/product launches.

Background/Experience

  • Degree educated in Engineering or a similar field.
  • Experience in materials development.
  • Experience leading NPI projects.
  • Experience within the commercial/security printing inks industry.
  • Lean 6 Sigma qualification is highly desirable.
  • Design methodology experience is preferred.
