LevertonHELM manufactures a range of inorganic Lithium chemicals which are sold throughout the world. It is now expanding rapidly due to the growth of the Lithium-ion battery sector and has an excellent reputation for reliability and providing high quality products.

As Inside Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing our inside sales team, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth through effective communication and customer engagement.

The Inside Sales Manager will work closely with other departments to meet sales targets and achieve company objectives ensuring all sales admin is completed on time.

Key Tasks

  • Manage and oversee the work of inside sales team.
  • Set and track sales targets and KPIs.
  • Coordinate sales projects to meet deadlines.
  • Execute sales analysis, prepare sales reports and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products.
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met.
  • Build an open-communication culture inside your team.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Develop sales strategies and tactics to increase sales and improve customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product, and customer service, to coordinate sales efforts and support broader business objectives.
  • Analyse sales performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and promote a culture of customer-centricity across the sales team.
  • Coach and develop team members, delivering ongoing training and development programs to improve sales skills and overall performance.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry and market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Knowledge, experience & skills

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role and industry.
  • Hands on experience using a CRM (Ideally SAP) software and MS Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process.
  • Excellent communcation, interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed.
  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or similar relevant field would be advantageous.
