Salary: £12.60per hour

Location: Woolston, Warrington

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Duration: Initial 6 month assignment with the look to become permanent

Requirements

• Qualified to Bachelor degree level in relevant life sciences discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Lab experience (not essential)
• Eagerness to learn
• Confident and proactive
• Strong drive to work hard and achieve results
• Ability to work well within a team

Main Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing of intermediate and finished goods according to set procedures
• Perform routine calibrations on all instruments within the laboratory
• Maintain laboratory supplies to support QC testing
• Operate within ISO 9001, 13485 and DNA forensic ISO 18385 quality requirements
• Contributing to laboratory housekeeping and consumable supply maintenance
• Performing batch review of quality control documents for bulk, intermediate and FG QC tests.
• Leading or taking part in process improvements, development projects, as well as contributing towards the resolution of quality issues
