Location:            Sydenham, SE London

Hours:  0.8 WTE / 30.0 hours per week (part time)

Salary:  £32,560 - £38,443.20 p.a. inclusive of HCA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse to join our Rehab and Wellbeing team. 

In this new role, the successful candidate will lead in the operational delivery of the wellbeing services for patients and their carer’s. The role involves the provision and delivery of specialist wellbeing services with a focus on Rehabilitative Palliative Care to optimise independence and make a significant difference to their quality of life.  Working closely with the Clinical Team Lead for Rehab and Wellbeing, you will be involved in the planning and delivery of our Wellbeing services. The successful candidate will help to ensure that the Wellbeing service is developed in line with best practice, will inform on policy development, and will assist in the recruitment, training, support and supervision of staff and volunteers who deliver the Wellbeing Service.

We are looking for: 

  • a person-centred therapist or nurse with sound reasoning skills and the ability to deliver therapeutic, rehabilitative interventions in a group or individual setting across a complex patient caseload in specialist palliative care
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Management experience
  • Good organisational skills
