Graduate job opportunity – Laboratory Analyst based in North Yorkshire.

Company:   Multinational Contract Research organisation with  family feel and caring culture, helping to advance drug development. 

Hours of work:   37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - Flexible start times.

Duration: Permanent 

Location: North Yorkshire

Salary:  £24-28k Depending on skills and experience.

You  will be involved in:

  • Preparing samples for analysis and use of pipettes.
  • Use of systems such as LCMS, HPLC. 
  • Writing technical reports and presenting information.
  • Ensuring that regulatory standards are adhered to.
  • Helping with projects and ensuring they are completed on time. 

What do you need to be considered?

You will need:

  • Degree or above in Chemistry or Biochemistry or closely related subject.
  • Knowledge of chromatography techniques such HPLC, LCMS or GC (through work experience or final year project)
  • Ideally 1 years’ experience working in a regulated laboratory.
  • Knowledge of GCP, GLP or ISO standards.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
