About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Nurse / Practitioner with experience in Neuro / Spinal Scrub to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Bristol. The hospital is the largest modern private healthcare provider in the South West and this is an excellent opportunity for a Theatre Nurse / Practitioner to join their friendly theatre team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Theatre Nurse / Practitioner to join them. The service provides a range of treatments including complex surgery and a Children and Young Peoples Service. The hospital boasts 5 well equipped modern operating theatres and an Intensive Care Unit.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Theatre Nurse / Practitioner as part of the theatre team and will be responsible for the following duties;
- Providing care to patients undergoing a range of elective procedures
- Performing scrub duties and focusing on Neuro/ Spinal
- Flexible to work across all areas of theatre
Who we're looking for
- Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
- At least 1 years UK experience in minor orthopaedics
- Experience in a variety of surgical procedures
- Good team player
- Strong communication skills
