Our client is a leading company in the Medical Devices industry, and they are seeking a talented R&D Engineer Level 2 to join their Research & Development team. As an Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of engineering work, applying your expertise in the development of medical devices.

This role will suit someone with a keen interest in engineering, materials and product design.



Position Purpose


In this role, you will perform engineering work that requires a high level of competency in all aspects of engineering. You will be responsible for independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard engineering techniques to plan and conduct projects. Your work will contribute to the development of innovative medical devices.



Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct engineering activities for medium to large components/systems in the field of medical devices.
  • Perform assignments independently with limited supervision, troubleshooting product problems and conducting design testing.
  • Prepare documentation associated with engineering activities and conduct testing for assigned projects.
  • Participate in corrective action development and alternative solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations.


Minimum Qualification, Skill and/or Competency Requirements


To be successful in this role, you should have a scientific degree (BS degree) or similar.

A 4-year degree in engineering or 2 years of experience (or 1-2 years with an advanced degree) is required.

You should have a complete understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the engineering field.

Additionally, strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

* Ability to work with integrity and build trust.

* Moderate problem solving and analytical ability.

* Ability to critically review and interpret technical documentation.

* Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.

* Ability to clearly convey ideas and concepts verbally and in writing.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
