Residential Care Manager – 37.5 hours p/w (Mon-Fri) - Up to £40,000 – Wetherby

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Residential Care Manager to lead a care team in a purpose-built, luxury care home in Wetherby.

Reporting to the Home Manager, you will be an experience in care and a natural leader with respect and dignity are at the centre of your values.

Role Responsibilities:

• Leading the care team to provide a high standard of personalised care
• Overseeing all elements of residents’ care
• Acting as an advocate for all residents, with specific awareness of safeguarding, mental capacity and deprivation of liberties
• Ensuring safe medication management
• Supporting the care team with clear objectives to work towards and identifing training needs

Requirements:

• An NVQ Level 3 qualification
• A wealth of previous care experience 
• A broad understanding of relevant policy drivers and their impact on clinical practice
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
• Excellent leadership skills
