Merco Medical have partnered with a one of the UK’s leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services in their search for top talent. We have an exciting new opportunity for a permanent, full time Consultant Psychiatrist based in Nottinghamshire.Position Overview: working within a specialist acute and psychiatric intensive case service for patients; providing individualised support packages and supported by a strong team of psychologists and occupational therapists. The successful candidate will join an expanding and diverse region.
Key Requirements:
- GMC Recognised medical degree and MRC Psych qualification
- GMC registration with a licence to practise, plus inclusion on the Specialist Register in general psychiatry
- Approved Clinician status
- Significant experience in leading a MDT and application of Mental Health Act/ Mental Capacity Act
- Previous professional experience within an acute / psychiatric inpatient service
