QC TECHNICIAN

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Location: Bath
A great opportunity for a QC Technician to join a business that design and manufacture a range of specialist IVD point of care diagnostic systems.
As the QC Technician you will have experience of working in a commercial laboratory, working alongside the quality control department as well as the R&D teams.
You will have experience working to, and writing SOPs, knowledge of QC procedures and a good analytical mind-set.
QC Technician Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree within a relevant biological science
- Some commercial experience working within a laboratory environment
- Knowledge of quality processes, methodology and procedures
- Experience in testing of raw materials, reagents and products (immunodiagnostic and nucleic typically)
- Knowledge of PCR / Molecular Biology techniques
- Strong report writing / technical documentation capabilities
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
