Opportunity for Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon

We are seeking a Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon who will continue to develop a superb first opinion 4 Vet Practice based in the wonderful market town of Tamworth, situated in the Midlands, 15 miles from Birmingham which offers easy commute for all travel.

About the role:

As the Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will be working closely with our Owners and Practice Manager who offer a wealth of experience, alongside our wonderful support team.  You will have autonomy to share new ideas. As part of your duties, you will be maintaining the support for the junior Vets.  The practice is purpose built to a high standard; all consult rooms are air conditioned, along with a spacious theatre Room. You can enjoy the use of up to date equipment including Ultrasound and digital Xray.

You would be able to take a natural lead role with the support of our Practice Manager, you would be mentoring newly qualified Vets supporting them and allowing them to grow in confidence and skill.  You would be required to provide a wealth of experience and skill set, thus continuing with the high standard of care for which we are very proud of.  In return this role 'can' evolve into a potential partner opportunity.

The practice opened in 2005 and is currently now a four Vet practice with a team of 14 including Practice Manager, RVNS, SVNs and Front of House team.

Hours:

We can offer a 4 or 5 day per week position, but we can offer flexibility. Over the 4 or 5 days you will work 40 hours as a full time Vet. You would be required to work a 1:3 weekends Saturday only, No Out of Hours required as these are outsourced to a 24 hour hospital.

Package and Benefits:

Salary will be competitive starting at £68,000 + per annum. This will be reviewed

6 monthly. There are potential partner ownership shares available for the

right candidate. Further study towards Veterinary Management courses or clinical qualifications will be funded and encouraged. All Registration fees will be paid for.
