Are you an experienced Senior MRI Radiographer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading independent healthcare provider in Glasgow. This full-time role comes with a salary of up to £45,000 with a flexible shift pattern.

As a Senior MRI Radiographer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively participating in the efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department, providing a high-quality service to all patients and visitors.
  • Carrying out general and specialised radiographic procedures within your scope of competence.
  • Assessing patients and interpreting clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic techniques.
  • Undertaking imaging examinations in line with department operational procedures and policies.
  • Practising good radiation protection and safety, and observing Local Rules and Systems of Work.
The ideal Senior MRI Radiographer should have:

  • Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Healthcare Professionals Council (HCPC) registration.
  • A general radiographic background / training.
  • IT systems familiarity e.g. RIS / PACS.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used.
  • Awareness of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability.
  • Knowledge of Radiation Regulations.
  • Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
