Product Developer
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Product Developer at a leading polymers manufacturing company based in West Yorkshire. As a Product Developer you will be responsible for developing existing formulas to customer specifications. You will also be responsible for dealing with customer technical services and providing support.
To be considered for this Product Developer position you will have experience within the polyurethane industry. You will also have experience with building/maintaining customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop existing formulations in line with customer specifications.
- Analysis of new and alternative raw materials.
- Organise customer trials.
- Provide resolutions to customer application/product issues.
- Produce technical documentation.
- Will involve elements of travel both nationally and internationally.
Experience/Background:
- Degree educated in chemistry/polymer science or a relevant field.
- Experience within the PU industry.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.
