Job Title: Part-time Trainee Dental Nurse

Location: Oakleigh Road North, London, N20 9HE

Salary: £11.50 - £12.00 per hour

Job Type: Part time, Permanent

Operating Hours of Practice: 9:00am - 5:30pm

Schedule: Part-time, Wed/Thurs/Fri (May initially start on Thurs/Fri, transitioning to Wed/Thurs/Fri from July/August)

(8 hours/day, 8:45am start - 5:45pm finish, 1-hour lunch break)

Salary Breakdown:

• Trainee: £11.50-£12.00/hour
• Qualified: starting at £14.00/hour based on experience and skill set

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Dental Nurse - all roles involved.
• Assist dentists during procedures
• Prepare instruments
• Provide chairside support
• Maintain patient records
• Ensure cleanliness
• Assist with reception tasks
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations

Skills or Requirements:

• Team player
• Sometimes flexible on timing if cover needed
• Ideally locally based
• Potential to cover reception desk in rare cases if needed
• Prior experience in a dental setting preferred but not essential; accepting newly enrolled trainee dental nurses (letter of enrolment required)
• Right to work in the UK
• First dose of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Good computer skills
