Staff Nurse – ITU/ICU

Salary: £32,466 - £39,460 a year + a flexible benefits package and bonus incentives!

Employment type: Permanent, full-time - 37.5 hrs a week

Are you a registered nurse with Intensive Care/Critical Care experience – looking to further develop your skills and knowledge within a supportive and expert environment?

Pulse is looking for a Critical Care staff nurse for an "Outstanding" rated CQC hospital. With a 28 bedded ITU and a 24-hour Critical Care Unit, with access to a range of cases including: medical and surgical patients. You will be joining a team of Consultant Intensivists, Critical Care Resident Medical Officers and Critical Care Nurses.

As a Staff Nurse in ITU, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a high level of patient centred care for level 2 and level 3 patients
• You will be responsible for your own practice and for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service at all times
• To ensure all their needs are met by effectively communicating with your patient, their families and your wider team.

The Staff Nurse must have:

• A valid UK NMC pin
• General ITU or Cardiac ITU experience
• Excellent communication skills with good time management and prioritisation skills
