We currently have fantastic opportunities for A&E Nurses in the Blackpool area. Shifts are available between Monday- Sunday. If you are a dedicated and hardworking candidate who is available across a range of shift patterns, then this may be the perfect role for you.

Key role and responsibilities-

• Receiving patients from paramedics and taking over patient care
• Carry out examinations to gain information about their conditions.
• Administering IV and intramuscular injections
• Venflon insertion
• Insertion of catheters
• Suturing/Gluing and removal of sutures
• Recording ECG's
• Taking bloods
• Blood monitoring
• Communicating with distressed/anxious patients and relatives
• Supporting and working with a multidisciplinary team

Minimum requirements-

• Min of 6 moths A&E experience
• NMC registered.
• Valid DBS certificate

• Willing to undertake any other training required by the trust.
• Valid Right to work.
