This company is a leading OEM in the clean air space who have a tight knit culture centred around the employee. This is demonstrated in the work life balance that they encourage their employees to have which is achieved through half day Fridays, limited overtime and very few overnighters per month (p.s when you do have to do an overnight stay they give you a £15 alcohol allowance as a thank you!). 

Role Overview:
This is a new opportunity to join a leading OEM in the controlled environments industry who are looking to grow their team! Traveling across the South East, UK. This will be an opportunity for you to develop your sill set through great training and to be a part of an ambitious group of engineers. 

Title: Field Service Engineer 
Location: South East UK 

Responsibilities:

  • Installations, repairs and maintenance of Biological Safety Cabinets, LEV testing, Fume Hoods, Laminar Flows
  • Become the technical expert on all Company products, including Biological Safety Cabinets, Laminar flow units, Fume hoods.
  • Assisting customers and field personnel with technical questions and arrange for necessary repairs or training on all Company products with a high sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Train field resources on technical aspects of the product and help troubleshoot field issues.
  • Identify and maintain inventory of necessary service parts.
  • Be able to systematically identify the root cause of issues and carry out practical corrective/preventive measures.
  • As necessary, repair or install Company's products in the field.
  • Maintain a complete and detailed service log and report re-occurring issues to the factory.
  • Be able to identify and maintain tools and equipment necessary to do the required job.


Person Spec:

  • At least 1 year of industry exposure in laboratory environments in the clean air industry 
  • Ambitious, driven and keen to grow skill set and develop 
  • Happy with travel 
  • Being able to work in teams 
  • Being able to work in changing environments and adapting accordingly
