An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Nursing Manager to help to lead and develop a luxury nursing home in the Preston area.

Details of this Deputy Nursing Manager position and what the home is offering:

• 40 hours per week on a permanent contract
• Supernumerary hours included
• Day shifts
• A competitive pay rate offered of £26.92 per hour, which is the equivalent to £56,000 per annum

As Deputy Manager you will provide specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that's unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN, Mental Health Nurse/RMN or Learning Disabilities Nurse
• Proven experience in person centred care planning within a care home
• Senior nursing or deputy experience is preferred
• Confident leading, developing and motivating a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
