Cyber Security Manager - £70,000 - £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Onsite - Based in London or Ipswich - Hybrid after probation (3/2 model)

I am working closely with a Utilities firm in London that is looking to hire a Cyber security Manager (Technical) for their growing function.

This role will identify vulnerabilities Cyber weaknesses in the security posture and ensure customer data is adequately protected from threats.

Developing a security roadmap and providing technical assurance internally is a pivotal part of the role, strong understanding of security design, vulnerability management, IT disaster recovery and business continuity is key.

Partnering with the SOC team, security architecture, engineering function and IT leadership is essential on a daily/weekly basis to ensure compliance across the companies entire estate.

This role is a management role leading a team of 6-7 resources and has an allocated budget to utilise where required.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years+ experience leading a Cyber Security Assurance function or similar such as Cyber Security Integration function, Cyber Security Engineering function with some experience of assurance testing techniques and methodologies.

Advanced knowledge and an understanding of operational excellence in Cloud Security Posture Management and Vulnerability Management programs.

Understanding risk, resource availability and business objectives at a group level is necessary. Putting customers interests at the heart of everything done must always come first.

An understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks such as National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and ISA/IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001/27002, GDPR.
