You love being a vet, you care and are good at your job.

You became a vet to help animals, learn, grow, and give back to the profession you love.

Long hours, production line consults, and little or no time with the patients are not what you signed up for.

You are starting to get frustrated, thinking about moving but worried you will get more of the same.

What if we knew of a modern independent practice, a loyal customer base who appreciate what you do, an experienced team working in a relaxed friendly environment together doing what is right for the patient and practice?

Luckily, we do and this one is hiring.

A new independent practice just 11 months old based in the pretty market town of St Neots is hiring for growth.

hey are looking for either a new grad or an experienced vet to work with the team. Owned by a vet and a nurse where a kind, emphatic person is more important to them than previous experience.

This practice has a real ‘family feel,’ about it offering a relaxed environment where everyone pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time.  A strong team that wants the best for patients and practice.

They have gained an excellent reputation,  not many practices can boast  63 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews on Google in such a short space of time.

This is a large purpose built setup offering four consulting rooms, X ray, ultrasound, two theatres, a large prep area, a dog and cat ward, and all in-house labs.

There is a mix of surgery and consults on offer depending on your interest.  They will encourage advance certificates if interested and with a comprehensive CPD budget, they want you to progress and be the best vet you can be.

They operate a 37 - 40 hour week, current opening hours 9 am -6 pm Mon-Fri. No OOH’s and ideally some Sat mornings but they are flexible on this.

So, what’s in it for you:  From £35k for a new grad to £65k DOE, plus paid overtime. RCVS and VDS fees are paid for, a comprehensive CPD budget, pension, 33 days inc BH’s. Loads of parking at the practice and cost price on vet fees.

St Neots is a charming town that offers a great balance of history, natural beauty, and modern amenities. With bars and restaurants, river walks, and the city of Cambridge close by what’s not to like?
