Position: Optical Assistant
Location: Godalming
Salary: £23,800 - £26,500 + Bonus (£1500 - £3000 per annum) depending on experience 
Working hours: 40 hours per week (5 days to include 1 weekend day) 
Opening hours: 
Monday - Saturday 08:50 - 17:30 
Sunday: 08:50 - 17:00 
***Please note that part time and flexible hours are available*** 

Key Responsibilities:

·    Assisting customers with frame selection, lens options, and eye care products.
·    Conducting pre-screening tests and providing support during eye examinations.
·    Advising customers on lens coatings, contact lenses, and aftercare solutions.
·    Processing orders, managing appointments, and maintaining accurate customer records.
·    Supporting the store team with administrative tasks and ensuring a clean and organized environment.
·    Delivering exceptional customer service and building rapport with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements:
·    Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the optical industry.
·    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
·    Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
·    A passion for eye care and a desire to make a positive impact on customers' lives.
·    Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as per the store's requirements.
·    A commitment to ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills within the role.
