Account Manager

CK Group are recruiting for a Medical Territory Account Manager to join a world leading manufacturer of dialysis equipment, to cover a UK territory (London and South of the UK) on a permanent basis. This role would involve travelling 3-4 days/ week with overnight stays. 


The Role:

Under the guidance of the Senior Business Director, the Account Manager will be responsible across a given geographical region for selling and clinically supporting a range of acute healthcare products and services in order to gain customer growth, maximise revenue and customer satisfaction. You will be supported by a small team.


Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue, sales, market share growth, profit and qualitative objectives and targets as defined in the sales/operational plans for the territory.
  • Taking ownership of account planning process- preparing, implementing, and reviewing targeted account plans, identifying potential revenue and sales growth; reporting on a monthly basis key territory action plans and account progress.
  • Engaging with all internal stakeholders.
  • Preparing for customer visits.
  • Preparing and facilitating regular clinical training & education sessions to Health Care Professionals pertaining to the products or adjunct therapy areas. These can either be classroom or bedside based environments.
  • Building and developing professional customer relationships in support of objectives.
  • Identification and development of relationships with key opinion Leaders and product champions through effective communication, relationship building, and partnership.
  • Actively participating in and supporting required QMS activities, including complaint and pharmacovigilance reporting.                                     
 

Your Background

  • Degree qualified in life science or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a relevant hospital sales role and full UK driving license.
  • ABPI qualified – understands the ABPI code of conduct and applies it accordingly. 
  • A nursing qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Good understanding of the clinical/therapy area and confident to discuss with core customer groups.
  • Experience of navigating NHS processes and procedures.
  • Able to present to a group and follow a sales process to deliver product and service.
  • Ability to recognise different needs of customers within a group and sell to these.
