Summary
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Together we are seeking a Deputy Lead Social Worker for their low to medium secure forensic hospital in Newbury, Berkshire.
The Deputy Lead Social Worker will work alongside the multidisciplinary team and will manage a caseload of up to 24 forensic service users who are in low to medium secure forensic mental health services. You will be responsible for assessments, CPA reports, Mental Health tribunals, Managers hearings and will be requested to supervise junior members. You will lead and promote adult safeguarding and will empower recovery to encourage service users to engage in their care plans and achieve their goals.
Requirements
- A Social Work qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- Have good working knowledge of the relevant legislation
