Deputy Nurse Manager – Full time - £25.26 p/h – Belfast

My client in the West Belfast area is seeking a Deputy Nurse Manager to ensure the highest standards of patient care are delivered through the effective, efficient and safe running of their nursing home

Role Overview:

• Overseeing daily operations in the absence of the Nurse Manager
• Contributing to strategic planning and business improvement for care excellence
• Assisting the Nurse Manager in managing all aspects in the daily running of the home including staff management, overall responsibility for standards of resident care

Responsibilities:

• Managing staff, uphold care standards, and ensure compliance with regulations
• Conducting patient assessments, coordinate admissions, and monitor care plans
• Implementing infection control measures and maintain cleanliness standards
• Overseeing medication management, equipment maintenance, and supply usage
• Supporting staff development, recruitment, and performance management
• Maintaining accurate documentation and handle administrative tasks efficiently

Qualifications:

• Nursing 1st Level Qualification with NMC PIN and leadership experience in a care setting
• Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
