Regsitered Veterinary Nurse wanted for the beautiful Cornish coast.
One of our nurses is happily expecting a baby so we would love to find another star to join our team for the time she needs with her family.
Expected contract length 9-12 months - this can be discussed
We are a small animal first opinion clinic with onsite surgical vet sharing his time between us and our sister clinic, we therefore offer extended surgery options at our clinic including TPLO, BOAS , MPL, Laparoscopic spays and much more.
We are a 2/3 vet and 5 nurse practice, with a full reception team to support, our practice manager is also and RVN so knows very well how to support nurses in their work.
The practice has a high standard of equipment including multi parameter , capnograph, Ethylene Oxide sterilisation, ultrasound, digital xray etc.
Rota wise there is flexibility for a part time or a full time team, and there are no OOH. Depending on how many hours candidate wishes, there is 1 Saturday in 5 and this can be taken as time back in the week or extra pay.
Shifts can be varied across earlies and lates and duties for ops, clinics and hospital are usually rotated and shared, everyone mucks in.
The team are very supportive and understand the power of being kind and working to help each other.
Cornwall is well known for its sandy beaches and bars, beautiful wlaks and laid back lifetstyle.
